My Favourite Cold Pressed Green Juice
As the craze about all those cold pressed juice diets continue to grab more and more attention, I press a glass at home for myself, too. Occasionally, because balance is what matters and I will keep on pointing that out. This is my favourite green juice recipe and I am more than just excited to share it with you. The balance between sweetness and freshness in this recipe is perfect to my tastebuds, celery does not overpower anything here as it often happens. Oh I wish my man would make me a glass of this heaven someday on a beautiful Sunday just so I could feel a little bit like him - pampered (see where I'm headed?).
Serves 2 | Total time: 15 minutes
- 300 g of ripe pineapple
- 250 g of cucumber
- 2 celery sticks
- 4 larger kale leaves
- 1 lime
Make the green juice
Peel the pineapple and lime. Remove all of the thick kale stems. Cut ingredients into smaller chunks and put into your cold pressed juicer, piece by piece. Serve cold on an empty stomach.
It's as easy as that. Why use a cold press for your juice? Because instead of slicing your fruit & veggies, a cold pressed juicer gently squeezes them - no additional oxygen or heat is used and that helps preserve most of the fragile nutrients and vitamins.
